The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad
The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad is nestled 37 miles outside of Philadelphia in Bucks County’s premiere destination; New Hope, Pennsylvania. A Delaware river town chock-full of niche shops and resturants, a fitting locale for a day or night out with friends & family. We provide a glimpse into travel of a bygone era on historic trains traveling over tracks that were laid in 1891 by the North-East Pennsylvania Railroad.
National Toy Train Museum
A world-class collection of toy trains for kids of all ages in Strasburg, PA. One of largest and most prestigious collections of toy trains in the world; exhibits and reference materials.
Railroad Museum of Long Island
Established in 1990, the Museum is dedicated to the restoration, preservation and interpretation of the history and artifacts pertaining to the railroads which participated in the growth of Long Island, its communities and industries for the entertainment, edification, and good of present and future generations.

Clubs & Organizations

The Bay Ridge Model Railroad Club
Organized in 1946, the club is the merger of two former Model Railroad Clubs, The Brooklyn Model Railroad, founded 1932, and the Shore Haven Central, founded 1936. The Present Club was formed in 1947 to construct, maintain, operate and display the Central Connecting Railroad and the Central City Traction Company, and to provide recreation for the members and guests in the Hobby of Model Railroading and Trolley.

Nassau Lionel Operating Engineers
Nassau Lionel Operating Engineers was founded in 1983 and built one of the largest O-Gauge model railroads in the country. The club is over 40 members strong. After over 25 years , we are now building a new O-Gauge model railroad almost double the size of the original with dimensions of 80' by 35'.
New York Society of Model Engineers
Originally organized in 1926 in New York City, in the early 1940’s, the organization moved to the Lackawanna’s Hoboken Terminal. During the mid-1950’s the organization moved to its current location in Carlstadt, NJ. Our organization features two operating model railroad displays: The Union Connecting, models two rail O-Scale (1/4″ to the foot) and The Union, Hoboken and Overland, models HO scale (1/8″ to the foot).
NJ Hirailers
The Mission of the NJ Hi-Railers Train Club, as a Not-for-Profit organization, is to provide a place of fellowship, a place to meet others that have the same interests, and a place for wholesome fun for those interested in any of the aspects of 3 rail O gauge modeling.
Smithtown Model Railroad Club
The St. James Model Railroad Club is a 38' X 48' O gauge model train layout. The layout is the results of 30 years of continuing improvements, it represents railroading from the age of steam to present day with many freight and passenger trains running simultaneously in a scenic, imaginative setting. Featured are many brightly illuminated, scratch-built structures, animated accessories, bustling towns, a busy seaport, and much more.
Somerset County 4H Trainmasters
Since its inception in 2000, the Somerset County 4-H Trainmasters has grown from a six youth member club with a couple of adult, volunteer leaders to its 2014-2015 status of 34 members, a dozen adult leaders and many deeply involved parents.
Train Collectors Association™
The Train Collectors Association mission is to develop an appreciation of and to preserve an important segment of history -- Tinplate Toy Trains -- through research, education, community outreach, fellowship, establishment of collecting standards, and to promote the growth and enjoyment of collecting and operating toy, model and scale trains.

Trainmasters of Babylon

Railroads in Texas from Fort Worth and Beyond
Early settlers in Texas encountered some transportation challenges due to the geography of this region. The state tried to resolve these problems by improving rivers and building plank roads. It wasn’t until the expansion of railroads hit Texas that transportation improved for this state.
